KREMENCHUK, Nov. 17 – Ukraine’s five operating oil refineries and the Shebelinka gas plant (Kharkiv region) will have processed around 11 million tons of crude by the end of 2010, 4.4% or 500,000 tons less than last year.
The forecast of the Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry, based on the plans of the oil refineries, was presented by ministry Department Director Kostiantyn Borodin in Kremenchuk.
According to the ministry, the total nominal capacity of refineries (including Kherson oil refinery) is around 45.9 million tons of refined oil per year.
