KIEV, Nov. 15 – The deficit of the national budget in 2010 will be 5.5% of gross domestic product and in 2011 will be 3.5% of GDP, forecasts Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

"We've approached the 5.5% figure this year. I believe nothing will spoil it and we'll end [the year 2010] with this figure," he said in a telephone hotline arranged by the Fakty i Kommentarii newspaper in Kiev on Monday. "We project 3.5% deficit for next year."
