KIEV, Nov. 15 – Some ministries and bodies are hindering the cancellation of old fuel quality standards and the transfer to Euro 4 and Euro 5 fuel standards, President of the Association of Fuel Market Player of Ukraine Leonid Kosianchuk said at an international conference in Kiev on the development of the Ukrainian fuel market.

He said that the State Committee for Material Reserve, Fuel and Energy Ministry, Defense Ministry and Ukrnaftokhimpererobka see a problem in transferring to new quality standards. There are difficulties at the Ukrainian Agriculture Ministry, and the ministry's representative said this at a meeting on the transfer to Euro 4 fuel standards earlier that day.

"Only the state committee for technical regulation and consumer policy sticks to a strict position. They support the transfer," he said.
