KIEV, Nov. 12 – The Fuel and Energy Ministry is mulling the construction of 58 small hydroelectric and hydroelectric pumped storage power plants (GES and GAES) in the basins of the Dniester, Prut and Siret rivers, according to a posting on the energy ministry's Web site.

Relevant proposals have been prepared within the state program of flood control measures in the Carpathian region.
