KIEV, Nov. 5 – Kiev has postponed the construction of a new waste incinerator in the city, according to deputy head of Kiev city administration, Oleksandr Mazurchak.

"We’re not ready for the construction of the incinerator technically and psychologically," he said at a press conference on Thursday.

Mazurchak said that he supports an idea of increasing separate solid waste collection. This year additional 2,000 garbage containers would be installed in Kiev.
