KIEV, Nov. 5 - Natural gas transit supplies to Europe and the CIS countries via Ukraine grew by 6.1%, or 4.559 billion cubic meters, January-October 2010 from the same period of 2009 to 79.098 billion cubic meters.
Natural gas transit supplies to Western Europe over the period under review rose by 6%, or 4.328 billion cubic meters, to 76.618 billion cubic meters, while supplies to the CIS rose by 10.3%, or 230.71 million cubic meters, to 2.481 million cubic meters, said the press service of Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrayiny.
