KIEV, Nov. 1 – Zaporizhia, Nikopol and Stakhanov ferroalloy plants in November are to start agreeing on volumes and prices of ferromanganese silicon supplies with U.S. consumers, the Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloy Producers reported.
"The U.S. Department of Commerce agreed with our proposal to voluntary restrict the prices of ferromanganese silicon, instead of imposing a customs duty of 163% on imports of Ukrainian products," reads a press release of the association, referring to its executive director, Serhiy Kudriavtsev.
