KIEV, Oct. 25 – Construction of the Darnytsia railway station in Kiev will be resumed in 2011, the Ukrainian Transport and Communications Ministry said.
"We increased the effective area of the premises, canceled the construction of an expensive tunnel, as we don’t need the spending of money for the sake of spending. We're at a final stage and want to attract an investor to build the Darnytsia railway station," said Transport and Communications Minister Kostiantyn Yefymenko.
He said that the tender has not been announced.
As reported, the Transport and Communications Ministry and Pivdenno-Zakhidna railways announced plans to call a tender to complete the second stage of Darnytsia railway station.
