KIEV, Oct. 19 – The Bortnychi sewage treatment plant in Kiev has launched an upgraded rake department at the second and third blocks and two reconstructed bioaeration tanks, which would lead to the considerable reduction of odor from the plant.
This was discussed at a meeting of Kiev City Administration's leadership at the plant on Monday.
"Unfortunately, the situation in the sewage treatment sector of Kiev city is being ignored, but it's not one of the worst. I guarantee you that soon the objects will be of top priority for Kiev's authorities," said the first deputy head of Kiev City Administration, Oleksandr Popov.
