KIEV, Oct. 13 – Fifty-six percent of Ukrainians say that they are very likely to vote in the upcoming October 31 local elections and 26% say they are somewhat likely to vote, according to a survey on the political and economic situation in Ukraine, conducted September 8-20by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems.
A total of 1,519 respondents throughout Ukraine were interviewed. The survey's margin of error is 2.6%.
According to the survey, only 25% think that Ukraine is a democracy and 41% do not think it is a democracy.
