KIEV, Oct. 12 – Ukraine increased electricity exports by 1.9% (51.6 million kWh) in January-September year-on-year, to 2.746 billion kWh, the Fuel and Energy Ministry announced.

The increase in electricity supplies followed the resumption last year of commercial supplies of electricity to Belarus, which in the first nine months of 2010 was sent 77.1% of the total electricity exported by Ukraine.
