KIEV, Oct. 13 – The Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have agreed to cooperate to promote the creation of a bad assets market in Ukraine, AUB President Oleksandr Suhoniako said at a press conference in Kiev.

The sides have signed an agreement on the issue, he said.

Suhoniako said that a joint working group has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, a package of proposals to amend Ukrainian law to create a civilized bad assets market.
