KIEV, Oct. 11 – The Economy Ministry has published a draft resolution on quotas on grain exports which foresees that quotas of an overall amount of 2.7 million tons of grain are to be effective until December 31, 2010.
According to the draft resolution posted on the Economy Ministry's Web site, the quota for wheat is set at 500,000 tons, the quota for barley is 200,000 tons, and the quota for maize is two million tons.
The draft document also sets a quota on the export of rye and buckwheat of 1,000 tons, which is effectively a ban on their export.
