KIEV, Oct. 7 – Ukraine is planning to agree with Azerbaijan on an increase in supplies of light Caspian oil to Ukrainian oil refineries, First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev said at a briefing on Thursday after a regular meeting of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
"We are agreeing to increase them [oil supplies to Ukraine]," he said.
Kliuyev noted that a final decision on this matter could be taken within two to three weeks, when Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev arrives in Ukraine.
