KIEV, Oct. 4 – Changes in the simplified taxation system foreseen in the draft Tax Code will increase the tax burden on companies almost fivefold compared to the start of 2010, and many could close, according to experts polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

"According to preliminary calculations, the total sum of monthly payments of the said companies to the budget would be from UAH 900 per month [as of early 2010 the sum was UAH 200]," a partner of PSP Audit Company and certified auditor Dmytro Sushko said.
