KIEV, Oct. 1 – Consumer confidence of Ukrainians considerably worsened in August, according to a survey International Centre for Policy Studies and GfK Ukraine.

"In August 2010 the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) plunged by 12.7 percentage points to 73.7. So consumer confidence of over 60% of Ukrainians was pessimistic," reads a press release.

ICPS said that consumer confidence in Ukraine has been spoiling since the start of the summer.
