KIEV, Oct. 1 – AeroSvit Ukrainian Airlines, which is the first Ukrainian operator of new Ukrainian-Russian An-148 regional aircraft, does not see grounds for conclusions on insufficient safety of the new aircraft.

The airline's spokesman, Serhiy Kutsy, told Interfax-Ukraine at the Aviasvit XXI 7th International aviation and space salon in Kiev on Thursday, commenting on a statement of Russia's An-148 operator – Rossiya Russian Airlines spread in the mass media on Wednesday.

"At the initial stage of exploitation of aircraft of any producer defects are inevitable," he said.
