KIEV, Sept. 29 - ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih believes an attempt by the Prosecutor General's Office to invalidate changes made last year by the State Property Fund (SPF) to a 2005 agreement on the sale and purchase of a 93.02% stake in Kryvorizhstal with regard to the buyer's fulfillment of investment commitments represents disrespect by state authorities for their own decisions, according to the company.
The company said that the protection of investment and foreign investors' rights, as well as strict compliance with legal norms and legislative acts is a key condition for creating a favorable investment climate in the country.
