KIEV, Sept. 23 - Ukraine's state nuclear enterprise EnergoAtom and Russia's United Heavy Machinery (OMZ) have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of nuclear power during the course of the international forum Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: The Present and Future on Thursday, an Interfax correspondent reports.
EnergoAtom's Vice President for Repair and Plant Manufacturing Volodymyr Pyshny and OMZ General Director Igor Sorachan signed the memorandum. The document concerns the parties working together in the servicing of existing nuclear power plant facilities, the exchange of information, Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the production of high-tech equipment, and the building of power machinery.
