SOCHI, Sept. 17 - Russia and Ukraine have not been able to agree the terms of oil transit through Ukraine, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko told journalists.
"The tariff needs to be such that oil transportation is economically worthwhile. Our companies today have the opportunity to undertake measures to diversify our transportation corridors in more competitive directions, including Primorsk. The talks with Ukraine continue, but we haven't reached agreement yet," he said.
