KIEV, Sept. 16 – The National Electricity Regulatory Commission will issue 10-year solar electricity generation licenses to Crimean Solar 1 Ltd. and Crimean Solar 2 Ltd. (both in Simferopol district).
According to a spokesman for the companies, Crimean Solar 1 leases a two-hectare plot of land in the village of Rodnykove (in Simferopol district) and Crimean Solar 2 a three-hectare plot. The costs of a facility generating one kilowatt of installed capacity at the power plant were about EUR 2,700.
Crimean Solar 1 and Crimean Solar 2 are the first companies that will receive solar electricity generation licenses from the NERC.
