KIEV, Sept. 15 – The investors in the well-known Bukovel ski resort have halted the construction of a similar ski resort on the border of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions due to the attempt by the law enforcement agencies to declare invalid the purchase of a range of land plots at a reduced cost.

Investment in the construction of the Bukovel complex totaled UAH 2 billion in the last 10 years, while there were plans to invest UAH 1.2 billion in the complex's development in 2010-2011, reads a press release of Skorzonera Ltd., the owner of the ski resort.
