KIEV, July 27 ??“ National Security and Defense Council Secretary Petro Poroshenko has promised improvements in the way Ukraine stores and recycles its aging stock of ammunition, much of it acquired decades ago when the country had been a republic of the Soviet Union.

"The subject of recycling is a priority subject in all meetings of the president of Ukraine, the prime minister, the secretary of the national security and defense council, and the Defense Ministry," he said at a Tuesday press conference, Interfax-Ukraine reported Wednesday.
