KIEV, Sept. 13 – The banking community is concerned that an increasing number of National Bank of Ukraine regulations are being passed without discussion with bankers, the Ukrainian Crediting and Banking Union said in a statement.
"The number of regulations issued by the NBU without discussion with the banking community has grown recently, which often translates into unbalanced decisions by the regulator," reads the statement. "What is more, the initiatives by the central bank require technological and methodological changes within very tight deadlines, which often affects the process of the normal operation of a banking institution."
