KIEV, Sept. 13 – Ukraine intends invest over UAH 450 million in the construction of Dnistrovska hydroelectric pumped storage power plant (GAES) in 2010, the Fuel and Energy Ministry reported.

"The commissioning of the first stage of Dnistrovska GAES, including three hydraulic units, will allow a cut in the cost of fuel consumption at the thermal power plant of UAH 200 million per year," a statement reads.
