KIEV, Sept. 8 – The State Customs Service continues blocking 24 vessels with grain for export without official explanations, the Ukrainian Grain Association reported.

"The total amount of grain on the vessels does not exceed 380,000 tons. There is no threat to Ukraine's food security," reads an association statement issued on Tuesday.

According to the report, some vessels have been waiting to sail since July 28, 2010.
