KIEV, Sept. 7 - Ukraine saw 1.2% inflation in August following four months of deflation, the State Statistics Committee reported.

Consumer prices rose 4.3% in January-August, just short of the 4.4% growth seen in January-April.

Prices fell 0.2% in July, 0.4% in June, 0.6% in May and 0.3% in April. They grew 0.9% in March, 1.9% in February and 1.8% in January.
