KIEV, Sept. 6 - Ukraine will supply the first Antonov An-32 light cargo aircraft to Iraq this month. The plane was built in Kiev in fulfillment of last year's contract for the delivery of $550 million worth of Ukrainian armaments to Baghdad.
The plane is ready; it will be dispatched to Iraq before the end of this month, as soon as the tests are over, an Antonov source told Interfax.
It is planned to build another two planes for Iraq this year, and the delivery of three more planes is planned for 2011-2012.
