KIEV, Aug. 30 – Ukraine and Brazil are considering the potential for boosting cooperation in the military and defense sector.

Mutual interest in the development of a partnership in that sector was confirmed by the sides at the fourth meeting of the intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation in Brasilia, Brazil.

Special emphasis was placed on aerospace cooperation – the Brazilian side showed interest in transport aircraft – the An-38, An-178, An-70, and the An-74TK-300, according to Ukrainian Industry Minister Dmytro Kolesnykov, who headed the Ukrainian part of the commission.
