KIEV, July 26 - Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) chief Oleksandr Turchynov said foreign spies are active in the country and are primarily interested in technologies being developed in the defense sector.

With its unique geopolitical location, Ukraine interests many foreign nations as a country that lies between "Europe and Asia, East and West," Turchynov told Ekonomicheskiye Izvestia (Economic News) on Monday.
