KIEV, Aug. 26 – Ukrhydroenergo plans to raise UAH 800 million from Ukrainian banks to complete the Dniester hydroelectric pumped storage power plant, Ukrhydroenergo Chairman Semen Potashnyk told reporters in Kiev on Thursday.
He said the funds are to be spent on the completion of the plant's first phase which consists of three storage pumps.
"Such plans exist, but the issue has not been decided yet. However, no doubt we will try to borrow the funds from Ukrainian banks," he said.
