KIEV, Aug. 26 – The Transport and Communications Ministry has introduced a system of compensation to passengers traveling to or from airports in the European Union if an air carrier refuses to transport them.
According to transport ministry order No. 216 of April 23, which approves new rules of passenger and baggage air transportation, if the carrier is intending to refuse to take passengers onboard, it must first find volunteers willing to cancel their reservation for remuneration.
