KIEV, Aug. 18 – Ukraine's GDP growth in 2010 could be over 4%, while the official cabinet forecast says that the country's economic growth would be 3.7% this year, Ihor Shumylo, the executive director for economic issues at the NBU, said at a briefing on Wednesday.
He said that according to the NBU's calculations, GDP growth in January-July 2010 was 5% year-on-year, and in July along it was 2.5% up on July 2009.
The NBU said that GDP growth in H1, 2010 on January-June 2009 was around 5.5%.
