KIEV, Aug. 16 – The net growth of overall foreign capital invested in Ukraine's economy in H1 was estimated at $495.8 million, or 21% of the figure registered January through June 2009, Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reported on Monday.

In the first half of 2010, investors injected $1.783 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) into Ukraine, which was 66% of the investments made over the first half of 2009.
