LVIV, Aug. 11 - UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino has praised the current stage of Lviv's preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

"We discussed in detail the progress that has been made by Lviv in its preparations for Euro 2012 since our previous visits and since the visit to Lviv of UEFA President Michel Platini. It is no secret that we had certain concerns and we had many discussions about the state of preparations for Euro 2012 regarding the stadium and airport in Lviv.
