KIEV, Aug. 9 – Gasoline and diesel fuel prices could considerably grow in the second half of August, according to the Kiev-based Psyche research center.
Experts said that the price situation could radically change due to price hikes on the international markets.
"Last week oil quotations exceeded the $80 per barrel mark. Then price of 'black gold' on exchanges grew by almost 6%, reaching a three-month maximum… By the end of the week the price fell slightly, but it did not stop the rise in spot prices of fuel in Europe. The price of fuel started growing on the Ukrainian border, which could radically change the situation in the country by late August," the experts said.
