TEL AVIV, July 25 ??“ Ukraine and Israel are discussing possible joint projects in the defense industry, including a modernization project for Ukrainian aircraft, an official said Monday.

Ukraine's Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko, on an official visit to Israel, said Ukraine has many planes and helicopters, including MIG-29 jet fighters and MI-24 helicopters, that need repair and modernization.
