KIEV, Aug. 9 – EnergoAtom plans to raise up to EUR 1 billion from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Euratom, European Union's nuclear energy agency, to realize a program on boosting safety of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, the company reported on Monday.

The company said that the estimated value of the realization of the program could be EUR 1.45 billion.
