KIEV, Aug. 5 - Natural gas transit through Ukraine to Europe and the CIS in January-July 2010 amounted to 57.641 billion cubic meters in January-July, which is 20.69% (or 9.88 bcm) up on 2009, Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, has reported.
According to the company, transit to Western Europe grew by 21% or 9.68 bcm, to 55.783 bcm, to the CIS by 12.07% or 200.16 million cubic meters, to 1.858 bcm.
Ukrtransgaz in January-July transported 29.786 bcm to Ukrainian consumers, which is 18.17% or 4.58 bcm up on 2009.
