KIEV, Aug. 5 - As of Thursday morning at least 625 hectares of forest have been burned by wildfires that broke out in Ukraine on Wednesday, State Forestry Committee spokesman Andriy Solimov said.

He said 26 wildfires broke out in forests supervised by the committee, which is 67% of all the forests in Ukraine. All of them were put out by Thursday morning. Forests on an area of 7.2 hectares were damaged.
