Dnipropetrovsk, July 26 – Germany's Haase Energietechnik AG is to design a project on the production of gas from solid waste in Dniprodzerzhynsk (Dnipropetrovsk region), Dniprodzerzhynsk Mayor Yaroslav Korchevsky has said.

"The executive committee of Dniprodzerzhynsk town council permitted drilling at the town's dump… The work will be done as a part of the Kyoto protocol. The town and the German company will profit from the new project. The company will produce gas using funds of the Kyoto protocol and "green" investment," Korchevsky said.
