KIEV, July 22 - Amendments to some legislation affecting the National Bank of Ukraine and banking activities, as well as changes to the Budget Code that affect the activities of the central bank were published in official mass media on July 21.

Parliament on July 9 passed a bill on amendments to the law on the National Bank of Ukraine, which takes effect 90 days from the moment of its publication. The paragraphs that amend the procedure for the distribution of the NBU's profit take effect on January 1, 2012.
