KIEV, July 19 – The Association of Tourism Business Leaders as of July 16 has received over 40 applications from travel agencies affected by the collapse of the Karya-Tour Ukraine travel agency.

The association reported last week that the total sum of the debt to tourists exceeds UAH 1.4 million, and new applications are arriving.

The association continues work aimed at collecting applications and making up a list of travel agencies involved in the situation. The association drew the attention of tourists to the fact that it is necessary to sign agreements on tourist servicing and keep documents confirming the fact of payment for tours.
