KIEV, July 16 - Kiev City State Administration is not initiating an increase in the city subway fares, but will be forced to raise prices due to a court ruling, Oleksandr Popov, the acting head of Kiev City State Administration, said at a press conference.

"There is a court ruling [on increasing fares]. And if there is a decision of the executive service to fulfill it, then, of course, the ruling will come into effect," he said.
