KIEV, July 12 – Ihor Didenko, the former first deputy head of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, has called on politicians not to make political capital from thw criminal case opened against him.

"I'm asking politicians not to use this case in their own political affairs," he said at a meeting at Kiev Pechersky District Court on Monday.

Didenko noted that the investigation ignored the existing evidence of his innocence and manipulated the documents.
