KIEV, July 12 – A monitoring group of experts of the anticorruption initiative of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has said it is satisfied with Ukraine's efforts to fight corruption, although the group also pointed out problems such as the existence of immunity from prosecution, and some of the work of law-enforcement bodies.
The head of the department for fighting corruption of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and the national coordinator of the Istanbul Action Plan, Oksana Markeyeva, said at a press conference in Kiev that the OECD experts took a wide and unbiased view of what is going in Ukraine in the sphere of anticorruption law.
