KIEV, July 12 – Ukraine’s opposition groups may be forced to unite ahead of October 31 local elections in order to overcome obstacles caused by recently approved parliamentary legislation, Arseniy Yatseniuk said Monday.

Yatseniuk’s party, the Front of Changes, is one of many opposition groups that are restricted by the legislation approved by the governing coalition on Saturday.
