KIEV, July 6 – Ukraine's international reserves expanded by 10.6%, or $2.818 billion, in June to $29.523 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.
According to the NBU, the reserves rose by 11.4%, or $3.018 billion, from $26.505 billion January through June 2010.
Ukraine in July borrowed $2 billion from Russia's VTB, which was later described by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov as “bridge financing” pending the issue of eurobonds scheduled for 2010.
