KIEV, July 5 - Electricity output at power stations operated by Ukraine's state-run EnergoAtom nuclear energy company in January to June increased by 6.4% over the same six months last year to 43.726 billion kWh, EnergoAtom told Interfax.
This also represented a 4.5% increase over the production plan for the six months.
The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant during the period increased output by 1.1% to 19.65 billion kWh, the Rivne nuclear power plant increased it by 16.2% to 8.263 billion kWh, and the Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant by 23.9% to 7.343 billion kWh, while the Yuzhnoukrainsk plant cut output by 1.5% to 8.358 billion kWh.
