KIEV, June 29 – Ukraine exported over 3 million decaliters of hard liquors and vodka January through May, which was 18% up year-over-year, reads a report by the Ukrvodka Association.

In particular, vodka exports grew by 22%, to 2.6 million deciliters over the first five months of 2010.

In May 2010 alone, Ukraine exported 760,000 decaliters of hard liquors and vodka, which was 44.6% up on year-over-year. Of the exported hard liquors, there were 630,000 decaliters of vodka, which was up almost 58% year-over-year, the association said.
